We’re looking for a real pro to join our hard-working team at Heartstone Farm’s Distribution Center in Dover-Foxcroft. We ship over 400+ orders of our meat every week to customers - and our business grows every month. You’ll be a member of our fulfillment team - picking and packing boxes for our customers as far away as Virginia. We pride ourselves on having a great environment with a truly outstanding team.
The job: You’ll be picking and packing orders (we ship our meat frozen - so it’s a cold environment). It’s important that our customer’s orders are picked accurately and packing with care. NO PRIOR EXPERIENCE NEEDED!!! Will train the right people!
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform any shipping and receiving tasks that may be assigned by supervisor or appropriate designee
Complete all documents related to shipping and or receiving tasks assigned
Select and containerize frozen food orders for shipment to customers accurately
Operate pallet jacks, material handling equipment in a safe and efficient manner
Follow good sanitation practices; keep work area clean and free of debris
Make recommendations for modifications to procedures or processes impacting work group or distribution center that will maximize efficiency, productivity, and reduce costs
QUALIFICATIONS
Able to use a personal computer for data entry and research purposes
Highly motivated self-starter and team player with strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize multiple task in a fast paced environment
High School Education or equivalent
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
Ability to reach, stoop, bend, and lift up to and including 50 lbs. repetitively 100lb occasionally
Ability to meet production standards set by the company
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Ability to read and understand written and numeric product identifiers
Must be able to work needed schedule to perform assigned duties
Work in a warehouse environment with varying conditions (i.e. -0 temperatures, concrete floors.
Being physically active at work is important to you – you’ll be moving, bending, & lifting items up to 100 lbs. all throughout your shift (some to shoulder level and above
