Warehouse Manager – JLS 5285 (Northeastern Iowa)

The Warehouse and Inventory Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operation of the Warehouse, order fulfillment and Receiving processes, including a dozen warehouse employees. This is a role for someone who is highly organized while the ability to handle a constant flow of items coming in and out.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare the work schedule for warehouse workers
• Prepare the shipments according to orders and help with loading the outgoing items on trucks
• Communicate with Planning and Ops to align work schedule with operations plans
• Maintain accurate inventory of supplies and products
• Maintain and follow the safety protocols for workers and equipment
• Investigate and resolve inconsistencies with inventory
• Maintain and perform the Cycle Count program
• Manage the reception of goods that will be stored in the warehouse.
• Manage the movement of trailers and onsite storage to prevent product loss
• Hire, train and provide development opportunities for staff
• Managing projects, present progress updates & status reports

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business, a plus
• 6+ years of warehouse leadership experience
• CDL driver’s license
• Proficiency with MS Office & ERP software; NetSuite is a plus
• Proficiency in math, reading, and speaking skills to make sure all calculations are correct, avoid any unforeseen losses for the company, and effectively communicate with other plant depts, employees, & suppliers.

Work Environment/Schedule

• Standard office environment located within a food processing plant
• Sit or stand at a desk for short periods of time
• Visual acuity to read computer screens and printed document
• M-F, days, and salary up to 120K plus bonus potential
