Job Description

We are seeking a highly analytical and strategic Talent Researcher to join our Talent Acquisition team as part of a transformational effort aimed at revolutionizing our hiring process. This role will play a crucial part in breaking up the hiring funnel with purpose, focus, and data-driven decision-making. The successful candidate will conduct market research, develop detailed talent maps, and provide strategic insights to shape recruitment efforts and build a proactive talent pipeline. Key Responsibilities: Market Research and Analysis: Conduct comprehensive market research to understand industry trends, competitor strategies, and the supply and demand of talent within key markets. Analyze labor market data to identify emerging trends, challenges, and opportunities to optimize hiring strategies. Talent Mapping: Develop detailed talent maps that identify key talent pools, competitors, and potential candidates. Continuously update talent maps based on evolving market trends and shifts in talent demand. Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze both internal and external data sources to generate actionable insights that influence talent acquisition strategies. Create regular reports on talent trends, market insights, and recruitment performance metrics to guide sourcing and decision-making. Candidate Personas: Build and maintain detailed candidate personas to ensure targeted sourcing and recruitment marketing efforts. Collaborate with the Recruitment Marketing team to align candidate personas with employer branding and sourcing strategies. Collaboration and Communication: Partner closely with Sourcing, Recruitment Marketing, and Talent Partners teams to ensure strategies are aligned and processes are efficient. Present data-driven findings and recommendations to senior management and key stakeholders to support strategic decision-making. Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Leverage innovative tools and technologies, such as ChatGPT and AI-driven analytics, to enhance market intelligence and optimize communication. Continuously seek ways to improve processes and strategies based on new insights and technologies. Required Qualifications: Skills and Experience: Strong analytical and research skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and market intelligence. Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, Tableau, Power BI, or similar. Proven experience with market research and talent mapping techniques. Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively translate data into actionable insights. Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving abilities. Core Competencies: Ability to think critically and strategically about talent acquisition, labor market trends, and recruitment strategies. Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work with cross-functional teams to align goals and processes. A willingness to embrace new technologies and adopt innovative approaches to talent research. Clear and concise communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment while maintaining a strategic approach to talent research.
