The ideal candidate has a passion for podcast, experience using Apple Podcasts across the Apple ecosystem, a solid black-box QA background and experience testing web applications. Key Qualifications
  • Experience testing iOS applications.
  • Experience with the Apple software and hardware ecosystem.
  • Experience testing cloud-based, client/server and/or RESTful API technologies.
  • Proficiency in manual/UI testing and willingness to engage in both.
  • Must have a working knowledge of SQA methodologies and practices.
  • Proven bug detection and regression skills.
  • Experience reporting and tracking bugs and third-party issues.
  • Extensive use of QA tools and networking tools.
  • Strong technical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Comfortable and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with other teams to organize testing responsibilities.
  • Ability to lead projects and contribute as part of a team.
  • Experience with Python/Swift/UI Automation with desktop or mobile app a plus.
Description You will be joining a team dedicated to delivering the best in class podcasts experience for our customers. Your main focus will be ensuring the quality of our podcasts applications as well as interoperability with the entire Apple Podcasts ecosystem. You will be responsible for defining test approaches and plans for assigned functional areas, expanding our current test cases and executing required tests. You will own complete functional areas and must be able to define qualification strategies, as well as execute functionality, compatibility, integration and reliability testing for applications that are part of a complex mobile, desktop, web and cloud client/server ecosystem. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated, dynamic and detail-oriented individual with a strong technical background and excellent black box testing skills. In addition, this position requires an individual able to contribute at a high level in a fast-paced cross functional team environment with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Education & Experience BS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience. Additional Requirements Pay & Benefits At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $125,800.00 and $229,400.00, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
