Position: Power Electronics Engineer

Location: Houston, TX (Onsite)

Experience: 9-25 years

Must Have: Power Electronics with High Temperature

Job Summary:

• Designing and constructing power electronics hardware and software systems suited for specific applications.
• Testing and evaluating power electronic devices for performance, safety, and reliability under different conditions.
• Experience with basic test equipment (e.g. oscilloscopes, DMM, E-load, signal generators, high temperature chamber)
• Improving existing electronic systems by integrating new technology or refining components to increase the efficiency and durability of the system.
• Collaborating with other engineers and technical staff to resolve system malfunctions or to devise innovations that enhance system performance.
• Conducting detailed calculations to establish manufacturing, construction, and installation standards and specifications.
• Monitoring the manufacturing process to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety or quality standards.

• Implementing control circuits and software required for high-power systems such as motor drives and uninterruptible power supplies.
• Simulating and modeling power electronics designs before physical execution to ensure stability and functionality.
• Analyzing thermal management systems and deploying cooling mechanisms to maintain the reliability and efficiency of power components.
