Job Description

About the Family:

Loving family in Charlotte, NC, is seeking a compassionate and engaging nanny to assist with their four children, girls aged 12, 10, and boys 6, and 4. They are looking for someone who can help manage the daily chaos of family life, providing support with the younger boys primarily and some occasional afterschool transport for the older girls, who are otherwise self-sufficient. Flexibility in scheduling is key, as the family may need help on different days or times. 

Responsibilities:  

• Provide care and support for four children, main focus on the younger boys 
• Assist with kids' laundry and light meal preparation 
• Tidy up play areas and organize children’s belongings 
• Engage with kids in outdoor play and other activities 
• Potentially transport children to various activities 

Qualifications:  

• Experience caring for multiple children 
• Ability to manage a flexible schedule 
• Strong communication and organizational skills 
• A compassionate and engaging demeanor 

Additional Information: 

• Requires some evening availability (one Friday and one Saturday per month) 
• Possibility of additional hours based on family needs 
• Start ASAP 
• Rate: $18-22/hr, negotiable with experience

Schedule Notes  

• Afterschool Schedule: Tuesdays from 2 PM to 6 or 7 PM 
• Evening Needs: One Friday and one Saturday per month (4-9 PM), ideally separate weeks/every other week 
• Possibility of Additional Hours: Another afternoon or evening may be needed depending on the week 
• Flexibility Required: Openness to changes in schedule with notice
