Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and creative Marketing Intern to join our team at vialytics, a leading provider of intelligent road management software. In this remote position, you will play a crucial role in supporting our marketing efforts, with a focus on event management, graphic design, social media, content creation, and grant research. 

Key Responsibilities

Event Management

• Assist in the planning and execution of conferences, trade shows, and other marketing events
• Coordinate logistics, including registration, booth setup, and attendee engagement
• Develop promotional materials and collateral for events

Graphic Design

• Create visually appealing flyers, infographics, and other marketing assets
• Design social media graphics and banners to support our online presence
• Ensure brand consistency across all marketing materials

Social Media

• Manage and maintain our social media channels (e.g., LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook)
• Develop and implement a social media content strategy to engage our audience
• Monitor and respond to comments and inquiries on our social media platforms

Content Creation

• Research and write engaging blog posts, articles, and other content to showcase our products and services
• Collaborate with the marketing team to ideate and produce high-quality content
• Optimize content for search engine visibility and user engagement

Grant Research

• Utilize various grant research tools and databases to identify relevant funding opportunities
• Assist in the preparation and submission of grant applications
• Stay up-to-date on the latest grant funding trends and requirements

Qualifications:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Available to work ~30 hours / week
• Proficiency in graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva)
• Experience with social media management and content creation
• Familiarity with grant research and writing
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Familiarity with the road infrastructure or software industry is a plus

This position is paid $15/ hr and while it's mostly remote, we'd like to have someone in the NJ / NYC area who can occasionally attend in person meetings with our team or clients.
