Job Description: Logistics Manager
- First-level manager responsible for managing the activities of supervisors and/or individual contributors who exercise latitude and independence in their assignments.
- Manage the logistics schedule and issue a resolution process.
- Develop and manage the schedule, performance requirements and operates within a budget.
- Identify and strategize cost reducing tactics and efficiency improvements that add value to business and customer operations.
- Manage the workplace safety standards to ensure compliance.
- Responsible for hiring, firing, performance appraisals, and pay reviews for supervisors and/or individual contributors.
- Advise subordinates to meet schedules and/or resolve logistics problems.
- Build spreadsheets to track and manage multiple tasks.
- Manage Navy inventory across several databases including MS Access, Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE), and ERP.
- QA subordinates reports to ensure accurate compliance with CDRL's.
- Be proficient in the MS Office suite, specifically Excel and Access.
- Maintain full accountability of Government Material at multiple locations.
- Organize and manage a warehouse of 24,000 sq ft consisting of over 10,000-line items.
- Capable of team building, mentoring, and developing subordinates.
- Experience in working with other groups to achieve a common goal and meet the mission.
- Ability to adapt and change as the customer requires.
- 20+ years of experience
- BA/BS degree
Active secret security clearance required.
Must be a US citizen

The likely salary range for this position is $80,750 - $109,250. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
