This is a full-time position that works 8a 5p, Monday - Friday. The pay is $14 per hour with merit increases depending on experience and qualifications. This role is onsite at our center located: 2610 John Young Pkwy, Kissimmee, FL 34741

As the Lead Teacher of the 4-year-old classroom, you will work to design and implement engaging developmental activities that prepare children for school. Youll play a crucial role in enhancing their pre reading, pre-math, language, and social skills. In this position, youll serve as a role model and mentor, creating a vibrant classroom environment filled with fun and interactive learning experiences. Join us in supporting the growth and success of our children as they embark on their educational journey to kindergarten and beyond! 

What Youll Do: 

Coordinate and implement educational curriculum by developing classroom activities based on developmentally appropriate practices and early learning standards 
Lead by example and encourage success through modeling and coaching 
Plan individual and group age-appropriate activities to engage children and encourage social, cognitive, and emotional growth 
Follow all facility policies and state regulations 
Maintain a personal and professional development plan to ensure continuous quality improvement 
Provide effective communication with both students and adults to meet the needs of the children, effectively guide teacher assistants, and resolve parental concerns 

What We Need from You: 

High school diploma / GED, or degree in related field of study required 
FL DCF 45 hours required 
National CDA in Preschool highly preferred

Minimum of 1 year of professional early childhood education or experience 
Must clear a full DCF level II background check 
Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, oral and written communication skills, and basic computer skills 
Strong understanding of children's cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development to ensure a safe and stimulating classroom environment where students are engaged and encouraged to succeed
