Job Description

Summary:
The QTI Group has partnered with a medical center located in Madison, WI. They are seeking a Temporary HR Onboarding Assistant to assist their team. In this position, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring new employees have a smooth and welcoming start. This individual will manage the onboarding process from the moment an offer is accepted through the new hire’s initial integration into their role, including assisting in the Employee Health Department.

This position has a schedule of 28 hours per week, Monday-Friday between the hours of 8am-4pm.

This position is temporary for 6 months and pays $23+/hr. based on experience.

Location: Central Madison with paid parking!

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the Employee Health Department.
  • Conduct in-person new employee onboarding appointments, which consist of completing the Form I-9, taking the employee's photo for their ID badge, and assisting with onboarding questions.
  • Track and ensure new employee I9 compliance.
  • Complete I9 data entry into the HR system-Oracle Cloud.
  • Ensure that new hires meet organizational onboarding requirements in preparation for their first day. This includes enrolling new hires into New Employee Orientation (NEO), processing education verifications and caregiver/criminal background checks, along with other additional role-specific requirements.
  • Create an orientation letter specific to the role to ensure a smooth transition into job duties.
  • Assist with projects assigned and provide coverage for the Onboarding Specialist weekly.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 3 years of experience in Human Resources, Business, or leading and coordinating programs may be considered in lieu of the Associate's degree in addition to the experience below.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or Business Administration or related field preferred.
  • 3 years of Human Resources or other relevant experience. Experience leading or participating in process improvement initiatives.
  • Preferred-3 years independently coordinating programs that require a high degree of customer service and attention to detail. Experience onboarding or training.
