Job Description

HRP’s Plymouth, MA office, has an immediate full-time opportunity for an individual with 3 to 5 years of experience in Environmental Science. The candidate will possess curiosity, drive, and ambition. Responsibilities May Include (depending on experience level & position):
  • Field team supervision
  • Environmental data management
  • Site assessments
  • Site characterization of soil, groundwater, surface water, and sediments
  • Remediation investigation, design, and implementation
  • Data analysis and interpretation
  • Report and proposal preparation
  • Other duties as assigned
  Work Experience & Knowledge to Include (based on experience level & position):
  • Multi-media field sampling and logging techniques
  • Oversight and management of subcontractors
  • Monitoring well design and installation
  • Geospatial data collection and analysis
  • Knowledge of regulatory framework in the Northeast
  • Environmental site assessments (Phase I/II/III)
  • Due Diligence
  • Report preparation and an aptitude for technical writing
  • Groundwater/soil remediation technologies
JOB REQUIREMENTS:

 
  • We are looking for creative, results driven individuals with strong backgrounds in environmental science, engineering, hydrogeology, geochemistry, geology, or related fields.
  • Applicants need to be capable of working both independently and in a team setting that is fully supportive of our clients, as well as other employees.

     
  • Travel up to 50% of the time may be required.  Travel would primarily be in MA but could extend to out-of-state areas as needed.

For the Environmental Scientist position, we anticipate a base salary of $70,000.00 to $90,000.00 USD. An employee’s pay position within this range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs. We also may have instances where compensation may be outside of the range, based on the factors noted above.
