Step into an integral role as an Electrical Maintenance Specialist at U.S. Steel, where your expertise as a seasoned professional is critical in maintaining the high standard of our manufacturing plant operations. What You Will Do

• Engage in the troubleshooting, installation, and repair of various electrical and electronic systems using your comprehensive understanding of schematics, and AC/DC systems.
• Play a supportive role in the operational teams when necessary, upholding our efficiency and safety benchmarks.
• Navigate diverse working environments across plant locations, whether hot, cold, noisy, or moist, to ensure continued high performance.

Qualifications

• Possess a minimum of one year of experience in the manufacturing or industrial sector (including military service), or equivalent education. Expertise in industrial electronics, construction, PLCs, and electrical maintenance is desirable.
• Education required: High School Diploma or GED.
• Prepare for rotating 8-hour shifts which include weekends and holidays, alongside occasional overtime.
• Commit to our safety-first methodologies, including the wear of protective gear, ensuring both individual and collective safety.
• Demonstrate reliability through consistent attendance and proactivity, shaping the overall success of our operations.
