Position Title: Director of Inpatient Care Services

Compensation: $120000 $135000 (Signing bonus of up to $30000 and $10000 relocation bonus available)

Duration: FullTime

Location: Onsite in Montana

Overview

Our client is seeking a dynamic Director of Inpatient Care Services to oversee the clinical operations and strategic direction of acute care units including ICU PCU Medical/Surgical and Rehabilitation Nursing. This pivotal leadership role ensures optimal patient outcomes staff development and financial health of the reporting units. Reporting directly to the Chief Nursing Officer the Director will drive innovation foster collaboration and uphold excellence in patient care.

Requirements

Education:

• Bachelors in Nursing required.
• Masters in Nursing Business or Leadership/Management preferred.
• ACLS ONS Certification and BLS within three months of hire.

Experience Level:

• Minimum of 5 years as an Acute Care Clinical Leader.
• Competency in Med/Surg or ICU nursing required.
• At least 2 years of bedside RN experience preferred.
• Union experience required.

Technical Skills:

• Strong proficiency in team management performance improvement and budget management.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) and datadriven decisionmaking.

Preferred Skills

• Experience as a UnitLevel Director.
• Proven success in project management physician collaboration and process improvement.
• Skilled in mentoring teams with varying skill levels including new graduate RNs.

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for acute care units.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to implement quality and safety standards.
• Manage department budgets productivity metrics and resource allocation.
• Lead and mentor nursing staff to ensure professional growth and high performance.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance patient care delivery.
• Monitor compliance with regulatory standards including HIPAA and safety protocols.
• Act as a liaison between executive leadership physicians and staff.
