Job Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic Leader to join our team at Chick-fil-A. This “hands-on” Business Administrative Assistant opportunity is designed to give you a career in the most highly-esteemed restaurant chain in the nation while providing a clear roadmap for your professional growth and development. The Business Administrative Assistant will be reporting directly to the Restaurant Operator. Through various goals, initiatives, and projects this position will give you the opportunity to make a huge impact on overall success of the restaurant.
Ownership of the Following Business Administration Components:
- Financial Return & Reporting
- Cash Management Processes
- Upkeep of company platforms and web-based systems
- Vendor Accounts Receivable/Payable Reconciliation & Accountability
Business Administration Assistant Expectations: (Not an exhaustive list)
- Vendor Accounts Receivable/Payable Reconciliation completed weekly and monthly
- Month End Package Audit & Completion (Supplier Payments, credits, paid in/out reconciliation, inventory, waste tracking, and communicating between CFA Inc Accountant)
- End of Month reporting drill-down
- Serves Guests in the restaurant during peak business hours in the event additional operational support is needed
- Assists Leadership Team with various administrative tasks
- Able to work successfully independently and within a team
Success Factors and Matching Measurements
- We will know the Administrative Director is successful upon attaining the following:
- Successful Chick-fil-A Inc. audits of reporting systems
- Restaurant office(s) remain clean, functional, and organized.
- All reporting stated above is on time & distributed to correctly to Owner/Operator and where appropriate members of leadership.
- All Accounts Payable are kept up to date and paid on time with zero late fees or overcharges.
- All “To Be Collected” sales are collected within CFA Inc. accounting parameters minimizing bad debt.
- All “Tax Exempt” sales are captured correctly minimizing refunds
- Bad Debt Line of business fee calculation report remains zero
- Restaurant email is consistently managed & distributed to leadership when needed, then deleted and/or organized in correct folders
- Known for having great proactive, trusting relationship with Chick-fil-A Inc. Support Center staff.
- Monday board organization remains up to date.
- Cash Management at Risk Level based on IPO Report within Top 20% of Chain Benchmark.
- Maintains 3 month scrolling Incremental Profit Opportunity (IPO) within Top 20% of Chain Benchmark.
- Obtaining and maintaining a Restaurant Net Profit % of sales within Top 20% of Chain Benchmark.
Background Profile
- 2 years of Leadership experience
- 2 years Business Administration experience (required)
- Restaurant experience (preferred)

Requirements
* Experience as a leader in a customer service and/or production environment.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
* Communicates employee performance and policy/procedure violations to the Leadership Team.
* Works with the Leadership Team to ensure appropriate restaurant staffing levels.
* Must be an excellent coach, communicator, and team builder.
* Maintains a positive working relationship and treats all employees with respect.
* Serves as subject matter expert to leadership for ongoing financial efforts.
* Achieve strategic, annual business results through focus and action on tactical monthly and quarterly objectives and tasks.
* Complete understanding of cash management procedures in the restaurant.
* Maintains regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.
* Bilingual (Spanish and English) preferred.
* 1-2 years experience reviewing and analyzing various business financial reports.
