Job Description

Firefly Home Care LLC is seeking a part time Bookkeeper to assist with daily accounting and financial tasks. Responsibilities include:

• Receiving and categorizing transactions in Quickbooks
• Receiving payments and applying to proper invoices in Quickbooks and home health software
• Reconciling the accounting books (monthly)
• Assisting clients with financial questoins and/or providing account statements
• Creating invoices and re-billing payers, as needed
• Assisting with preparation and submission of payroll records, as needed

Qualifications include:

• Minimum 5 years professional experience as a bookkeeper
• Minimum 1 year experience working in a healthcare or home care setting (prefered)
• Fluency with Quickbooks (desktop pro version)
• Solid understanding of double-entry accounting method
• Attention to detail
• Organized and proactive

This position is part time and may be based in Middlebury, IN. Candidates that meet all qualifications may be permitted to work remotely but will need to be available to work in the Middlebury office, as needed.
