Position Overview:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced morning shift operator with a minimum of 3 years operating bindery equipment. The successful candidate will be responsible for pre-press and post-press cutting on our Polar cutter, involving heavy lifting. They will also handle folding on a Heidelberg Stahl right angle folder, with expertise in scoring and folding on various stocks and sizes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain Polar cutter for pre-press and post-press cutting, involving heavy lifting.
• Utilize Heidelberg Stahl right angle folder for folding, demonstrating high attention to detail and expertise in scoring and folding on different stocks and sizes.
• Perform perfect binding, saddle stitching, die cutting, UV coating, laminating, shrink wrapping, grommeting, round cornering, drilling, counting, packing, kitting/fulfillment, and forklift operation.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper data collection using computer systems.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience operating bindery equipment.
• Proficiency in pre-press and post-press cutting on Polar cutter.
• Experience in folding on Heidelberg Stahl right angle folder with knowledge of scoring and folding on different stocks and sizes.
• Competency in perfect binding, saddle stitching, die cutting, UV coating, laminating, shrink wrapping, grommeting, round cornering, drilling, counting, packing, kitting/fulfillment, and forklift operation.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
• Comfortable using computers and data collection systems.

Pay and Benefits:

• Starting pay at $22- $23 per hour.

Work Schedule:

• Full-time position.
• 8 hours a day.
• Work hours: 6 am to 2:30 pm.
